Alex Connor is a multi-faceted, visually focused artist and craftsperson based in Chicago. During a ten year freelance scenic artist career, Alex moved across state lines twice a year to complete contracts for opera, theatre, and custom fabrication paint shops including the Santa Fe Opera, Chicago Scenic Studio, and Bridgewater Studio Inc.

Settling into one medium or process is generally not entirely possible for Alex, as he is constantly searching for the next mechanism to create the unusual.
